The goal of the project was to prevent loss of lives, properties and livelihoods of people who are vulnerable to flood disaster in Sot Khola and catchments of West Rapti and Babai River basins in Nepal. The objectives are to strengthen flood EWS and preparedness for effective response and to strengthen the capacity of the different actors to formulate effective disaster management plans, policies and strategies.
